Doctor Who 6x01 - The Impossible Astronaut

I've always loved Rory, but more for his unceasing adoration and devotion to Amy than for anything solely about him. But he was just fantastic in this episode - "If we're going to do this, let's do it right." OH RORY. And then when he asks River about what she meant, because he cares. I really like Rory. He's a very stolid sort of person, and very sensible, and - oh wait, he's basically Susan only less glamorous, isn't he? AWESOME.
River is, as ever, utterly fabulous. "She's doing it again. She's... packing." It's like the Stormcage is just her home base, and she leaves on missions whenever she feels like it. RIVER. Also, her talking about how one day the Doctor won't know her - simultaneously heartbreaking and I C WHAT U DID THAR. RIVEEEER.
ELEVEN, how is your massive ego so utterly entertaining and adorable?
AND CLEARLY, the most important member of the whole group, Amelia Pond! What is there to say? FLAWLESS, PERFECT, AWESOME. She talked to the Silence! She was even sort of sympathetic to it until it killed that poor woman, and then she still faced it down! SHE IS THE BEST THING. THE BEST THING EVEEEEER.
LET US FLAIL, FLIST. FOR LO AND BEHOLD, DOCTOR WHO IS BACK.
