Lizzie/Darcy is honestly one OTP I am about 99.9% sure I will never ever change. Because just look at them! I adored the books, I loved the old movie (I forget the year) and I really loved this one too (it is, in point of fact, the movie I watch when I am sick most often - perhaps only because I do not own Narnia). I forget when I got this, but I love how peaceful and lovely the icon is, and awwww, they're just so adorable together. *squishes hard*

Eowyn has always been one of my favorite LotR characters (I mean, come on! She rode to war disguised as a man! She saved Theoden's life! She killed the freaking Witch King and his little (really big) dog too!). And this is one of her most beautiful dresses ever. SO PRETTY. And the little coronet! The only other place we see her wearing that is at Aragorn's coronation scene - I suppose it's because of her status as a member of Rohan's royal family? Anyways, that DRESS. And that scene is lovely anyways, because of the song and how utterly gorgeous Eowyn looks. (Why yes, I am still fangirling over her clothes. :P) Only uncredited icon of mine.

This is probably the most interesting story. Shortly after I got started squeeing madly about Merlin, I found that the wonderful

rabidline had done an icon of the four of them riding off into the distance. I already had my Narnia 'Team Kickass' icon and so expressed my regret that this icon didn't have that too. Whereupon Rabid was AWESOME and made me a modified version that had 'Team Kickass' on it. So now I have matching Narnia and Merlin icons! SEE HOW RABID IS AWESOME?

These two are both just so pretty, and they have chemistry and they really drive the show. Also, they're adorable and sweet and not given to really overly dramatic scenes that I've noticed. They have their discussions about their love, and they do argue about it sometimes (because it can never be, though I have heard that in the books they find a way around this and this is what I am rooting for), but they're rarely 'OUR LOVE IS DOOMED, LET US LANGUISH IN EACH OTHER'S ARMS.' They just.. move on with life, and try not to give in. And they're both very very pretty.

katakokk had this for the sheer pretty of it, and I was like 'OMG LOOOOOK AT THE SHINY PRETTY' and she said I could steal it. So I did! (With proper credit to

simpleflower of course. :P) And it is the only icon of mine that is from a fandom I'm not involved in. I've watched Mulan only twice (and once was babysitting). I enjoyed it both times, but I've never had time to watch it fully through (babysitting and other interruptions do not serve well for this). I've resolved that this Saturday, when I'm going to be babysitting with kids in bed for a long, long time, I'm going to have to watch it through.

I don't have a credit card so I actually had to get my mom to buy them for me. XD It works, but then sometimes it's really irritating because she wants to know what "she's paying for"--normally, I would agree with her, except I'm giving her the money to pay for it so, really, I'm the one paying for it. :/ Ngh.

By the way, how did you get the icons into your comment? I tried doing that myself, but I can't figure out how to get it to work.

My mom would never buy it for me - I think maybe my sister would? Maybe? But I'd rather wait until I can than risking her be all 'oooh, what's your LJ username then?' and coming to READ ALL MY ENTRIES. Which I am not cool with.

It took me a while to figure out, but it turns out if you open 'make new post', get the icons into that post with Rich Text and then click on the HTML tag and copypaste the HTML they give you into the comment, that works. XD
