Casting your zombie apocalypse! This seemed like the perfect meme to start out the new year - one I've been meaning to do for a while that involves not only pretty people but also ZOMBIES. yaaay!
Me:
Keira Knightley - skinny enough, with some knowledge of self-defense and huge levels of determination.
The Best Friend:
Freema Agyeman - no-nonsense, beautiful, and invariably cheerful, the perfect person to lift your spirits during a zombie apocalypse and tell it to you how it is.
The Joker:
Shemar Moore - invariably silly and able to make a joke out of any situation, he brightens even the bleakest zombie apocalypse.
The Adorable Couple:
Julia Ling & Taylor Lautner - Ridiculously adorable and completely in love, they've been dating since high school, and are only recently married.
The Cute Guy Next Door:
Skandar Keynes - Not only good looking, but also smart, dedicated and passionate. Just the sort of guy to fall in love with during a zombie apocalypse. (do you think it gets less funny if you keep saying it?) But will the apocalypse force them into acting or make them both reluctant?
That Sweet Old Guy Who Tries To Eat Your Face:
Richard Wilson - Sweet and kind and wise. And then he turns into a zombie and tries to eat your face off. :(
The One Who Knew It Would Happen:
Alona Tal - she may look sweet and innocent, but she's been preparing for this for years, and she will not hesitate to blow zombies off the face of the earth. Part of her is thrilled that she gets to prove that she wasn't actually crazy this whole time.
The Military One:
Samantha Ferris - kickass and completely awesome, and more than happy to turn the group into a military band.
The Cop:
Adam Baldwin - terrifying but awesome, he clashes with the military lady for leadership over the group and enjoys target practice and long watches.
The Geek:
Matthew Gray Gubler - he might not be quite as good at beheading zombies as the others, but he's got the brains and imagination and experience in years of games to be fantastic at tactics and he never flinches. Plus? He totally knew this was coming. Bonds with Alona over shared geekery and proves himself enough that even the military lady and the cop reluctantly admit he's a good addition.
The Screamer:
Michelle Ryan - slightly oblivious girly-girl who's used to privilege and riches. Unsure of how she even got this lucky and prone to losing her cool at the mere sight of the zombies, but turns out to be tougher than even she thinks she is.
The Protective Father:
Anthony Stewart Head - because he does stern and authoritative very, very well.
The Pregnant Single Woman:
Paget Brewster - single and recently pregnant, she's traveling with her overprotective father. Has a sense of humor, a tendency towards being kickass, and hardly appreciates being coddled. She's smart and doesn't trust people, but finds herself slowly falling in love along the way.
The Sweet Single Guy:
Bradley James - at first only in the group because his roommate the geek got him out safely, he works hard and, after developing a crush on Paget, does his best to ensure her safety. Becomes an integral part of the group eventually.

HELLO, Samantha Ferris and Adam Baldwin! Even if they were on my side, they'd send me cowering with their fierceness.
I can definitely hear Alona saying "I KNEW this would happen".
And if the world were overrun by zombies, I so would want Giles to tell me everything's gonna be alright.

Have you seen Veronica Mars? Alona does jaded-and-cynical really well.
Ooooh, and what's really cool is, Tony Head could flip and do something like The Tyrant as well as Protective Dad. Yay for Uther!
