OI. OI THAT'S JUST NOT FAIR DOCTOR WHO.

SEASON TWO FINALE. THAT IS ALL.

... I'm crying! Argh bad TV shows stop making me cry! AGH DAVID TENNANT. WHERE DO THE BRITISH GET ALL THESE AMAZING ACTORS?

This isn't even the first time I've watched those last two scenes and I'm still sobbing.

Yes, but donna is even better.

I like Donna, but I've never been able to get over how ... petty? she was before she met him.

Heh. that's the whole point. When it was announced that Donna would be the new companion, the collective scream of 'OHGODNO' could be heard from space. and then she gradually snuck up on us in the space of a few episodes to the point where we were building small shrines to her. the sheer amount of character development she achieved just between the christmas ep and the first of the new season was awesome, and she retained the ability to bitch out the doctor something chronic.

I think that's possibly the biggest tragedy in Doctor Who. I was never able to really love her because she drove me nuts in The Runaway Bride, but by the end of Season 4 I was starting to like her and then THAT happened and I was like WHAT? WHAT?! I mean, at least Rose gets a human doctor in the end, and she still has her mum and dad. And Jack and Martha and Mickey have each other and Torchwood.

Except for the Doctor. He's the other big tragedy, because all these people he loves, they can't stay with him forever no matter how much he wants it, and he gave up Rose because his clone could give her what she needed.

AGH TRAGEDY ANGST MAKE IT STOP. D:

Martha's pretty good, but I like Roose. And Rose/Doctor. :(

I don't have a favorite companion, unless I'm allowed to count Captain Jack ♥ but there's a lot of good stuff to come :-)

A good lot of it, yeah. I skipped some episodes that I need to go back and watch, but I keep going back and rewatching my favorites instead. XD

JAAACK. He was AWESOME. I just really like Rose, and I like Rose/Doctor, and those last two scenes made me break down and sob. :'(

Ah, this is simple. Acting is regarded as a *job*, people don't join because they were the school's beauty queen (and we won't cast just because you're pretty), we tend to make them go to acting school first, and most of our actors are theatre-trained.

I love Britain SO MUCH. Yeah, when I'm taking my gap year I'm heading straight over there if it's at all possible. XD

Except, you know, that one episode, Midnight. With Colin Morgan. Because it's Colin freaking Morgan. /fail

B-BUT. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. The second time I watched Prince Caspian (not the first, but the second!) time, I started bawling at the end (post-kiss, of course).

Hehe. I kept going 'I KNOW THAT KID, WHO IS HE?' when I watched that episode, because I'm used to Merlin!Colin, and then I suddenly realized who it was and had to go check and stuff.

YEAH, SEE? For some reason it's just more tragic the second time around! I did that with Prince Caspian too.
