I am feeling really, really creative these past few days, you guys. I mean, there was say a prayer backwards and the other heaven, and also tying ribbons around grief, and I've almost finished the fourth (and last for a while) Renesmee metafic. Not to mention I've been writing a fair bit of Holland and Cedric these past few days, and working on deepening my nostalgia!fic characters, because I'm starting all over with them for NaNo. It's going to be about road trips and revolutions, and yeah I'm pretty sure I'm nuts too.

You guys aren't going to believe what I started tonight. No, really, you aren't.

Tonight my family and I watched the movie WarGames, which is cute (and also which I'm about to spoiler a lot, so), in parts corny (oh my god, is WWIII any time to be discovering you want to kiss each other?) and in other parts touchingly adorable.

Naturally, as soon as the movie was over I finished my dinner and began to write an AU in which WWIII does happen, Falken never changes his mind, David gives up on the beach and Jennifer does not and heads out by herself to live.

I'm 99.9% certain that almost nobody even knows the movie exists, much less that there's a fandom for it, but I like the fic and I love my Jennifer, so I'm just going to write it and use it for my

brigits_flame Week 1 submission. I don't really expect almost anyone to read it, but if you do I'll put a basic summary of the plot up until the point it goes awry before the story, if I get around to posting it.

Well, I have to raise my hand and say I have seen that movie, though it was a very very long time ago and I remember none of the plot, just the screen that's a map of the world or whatever.

But obscure fandoms DO need love too, so godspeed :D

But if it's an AU of an obscure movie and only one canon character is in it... isn't that kinda sorta original fiction? No matter, I'll definitivily want to read it.

Oh, if only it was possible to share creativity! I'd borrow a bunch from you. I seem to be unable to write anything resembling a story at all. And I who have a plot ready to go and everything!

Her characterization relies at least a fair bit on the movie, so if I made it original fiction I'd have to do a lot of exposition and come up with a realistic reason as to the nuclear apocalypse being a little bit her fault. Which I, uh, was too lazy to do. *shifty*

Awww, I wish I could lend some to you! What is this plot? WAIT OMG IS IT THE EDMUND BREAKS RABADASH'S NOSE? If it is, AAAHHHH I really wish I could lend my creativity to you!

Yes, I decided that only one fic per day should be posted. 1) because I'd like to spread it out a little, 2) last year I didn't read and review every fic, and I'm determent to do that this year.
