hey guys, remember how I wanted to write that one essay about kids getting kicked out of fantasy worlds?

yeah, well, I have a research project assignment in ENC1102. approximately 10-page page paper on anything I want in literature.

I don't remember if this was on your list or if anyone ever mentioned it, but tonight I just thought of .... Coraline! I thought of it because I'm watching the movie for the first time, and I don't really know yet what the differences between film and book will be, but if you want to use it for your paper I'd suggest using the book (by Neil Gaiman). It totally goes with the idea of kids in fantasy lands and then leaving - in this case it's that the fantasy land begins by seeming good but then is really horrific, and the ability to finally leave and destroy its power is a good thing.

(i am SO vicariously excited about this project of yours. super-duper awesome)
