Okay, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a post on the scale of epic.
First of all, thank you so much to everyone for being so understanding when I felt really horrible. I'm feeling a lot better now (mentally, mostly, because we all might be getting sick, but I'm pretty used to that). Esther was around yesterday morning, I got to go to Wal-Mart with her, and she would have spent more time with us if she wasn't worried about getting sick (which is, well, perfectly understandable because she had bronchitis for a month and she had to take a week off of work, which was bad). So that's really nice!
On the not-so-nice front, I cracked one of my teeth really badly. Thankfully, it's one that I've been having problems with anyway and that was going to have to be pulled if it didn't come out on it's own. So I'm going in hopefully this week to get two teeth pulled (there's another one that's been refusing to come out).
I've caught up with my f-list! I went back to around Thursday and hopefully caught everyone from then on. Sorry if I missed anyone!

houseofpevensie . I'm a bit erratic on commenting on them, but the writing is superb and I adore the characters.
C)animus_wyrmis posted her lovely Leah/Angela fic with no name. So pretty!
TV shows I watched while I was in a horrible mood - Chuck (about six episodes of the first season), Pushing Daisies (part of the first episode before I got kicked off the computer), Supernatural (a few of my favorite episodes), Project Runway (I have to admit, I generally skip to the reunion episode after my favorites get kicked off).
As proof that I really need to slow down on the fic writing and just concentrate on a few, I'm going to go ahead and do the 'give a line from each of your WIP's' meme. Um. For some of them it's more like post a paragraph.

Cedric/Holland story arc
The facts run something like this. Coming up the stairs are six of Mr. Smith's Fifth Ward boys. In Cedric's operating room is Monsieur D'ornui, unconscious from blood loss and almost certainly what Mr. Smith's boys are after. If he lets Mr. Smith's boys, Monsieur D'ornui's chances of survival drop to zero, though due to the bullet in his stomach they really are not very high to begin with. In the end, there really isn't a choice, though, because before Cedric was given his surgeon's kit he had taken an oath. It had begun, I will do no harm to those who come to me for aid. Shutting the door to the operating room, he sits down in one of the chairs in the anteroom and checks to make sure his pistols are loaded.
Sebastian/Celia story arc
"From Cuba? What are they doing here?" Sebastian asks in bewilderment. "Do they even speak English? Or French?"
"Portuguese, I think," Celia says. "It's very close to Spanish. And they're here because they've heard what everyone else has - come to Canada. Canada won't throw you in jail for thinking."
"Can we even feed all these people?" Sebastian says, and Celia almost laughs at how very young he looks surrounded by papers, until he shifts in his chair and the light throws the scar on nose and mouth into sharp relief.
Baseballverse
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere near the Mexican border, they develop a flat tire. "Oh great," Anna says. "My enthusiasm knows no bounds." Jared flicks her ear and gets out of the car to see what he can do about it.
What Images Return (fourth Renesmee piece, title tentative)
“Bet you can’t beat me to the top,” Leah says, and Mary scrambles for the cliff, leaving the rock soaked with water behind her as she climbs.

Renesmee metafic is being difficult. a) I completely forgot Seth b) I introduced the Cullens. I'm thinking that needs to be a later story, that this one should be only about Mary and Leah. I dunno.
