:D Thanks! Yeah, it did end up being very ensemble-y, which I'm pleased about because at some points I was worried I was focusing on John and Cameron too much.
It totally makes sense, though! Derek totally didn't kill Jesse, which means that she is out running around, and a little (lot) lost, and then she finds a Terminator hunting Lauren and when they're done fighting it she just tags along because Lauren really could use some protection, Jesse thinks. Yes. And Lauren thinks Jesse is a little intense, but she doesn't mind much because Lauren can be pretty intense herself these days.
