yeah, that's my reasoning. it turns everything into drama WAY too easily. religion can cause less problems, but that's mostly because I friends-lock and cut it and warn and so people don't have to read if they don't want to. I pretty much trust my f-list to be reasonable, so for me it's more a 'avoid drama at all costs' mixed with 'LJ is for fandom and friendships!'. :P
