urgh. done with first draft narniaexchange. I kept wanting to write military stuff and/or meta. instead, politics. gnarhhr.

but I have finally sent it to you, snacky, so. (I don't want to write it from Susan or Edmund's POV! I want to write it from Peridan's! I want to write Peridan being an awesome stray and the reasons behind him swearing fealty to Narnia and, uh, being fantabulous! narrrrgh.)

urgh. currently, it pretty much sucks. I mean,t here's all this stuff I want to bring in but it doesn't go along with the prompt (I am so bad at this following prompts thing). nrhg. *flops*

I'm not modding this year, but this is what I think: I tend to think of the prompt as just that -- prompts, not rules. Well, I guess it depends on how explicit and detailed the prompt is. But I think if it doesn't specifically say "No X!", then you can totally write about X. Like, it's about bending your writing skills, rather than suppressing it?
