+ Hey guys! the femgenficathon is running! sign-ups just finished a bit ago. I picked #17: The worst walls are never the ones you find in your way. Now, clearly this is a VERY Susan quote, but I am considering writing about someone else, as I am a little Susan/Narnia-ed out. (Well, not really, but I don't know if I could write enough new material on Susan for it.) My options are varied, but I am considering a Criminal Minds lady, or perhaps Samantha Carter? I like the Leverage ladies too, and the SPN ladies! ANNA OMG she would be a good pick! but I do not know if I can write enough of her. I don't think I have a good enough handle on her awesomeness. Morgana, though I have watched, uh, almost none of Season 2? I feel a desire to write Doctor Who or Torchwood, toooo. GUYS I CANNOT PICK there are so many awesome ladies with so many barriers! HELP.

+ WHILE WE'RE ON SPN (even though we weren't) OMG 100 EPISODES I can't even. guys, this is the first show I ever started watching regularly, last year somewhere in the middle of Season 4, and I have been faithful ever since, and it has not failed me. by not failing me, I mean that it has gotten CRACKIER and CRACKIER in the awesomest of ways, with fanservice galore. They have even delivered some on ladies being awesome! though I would like more. I would ALWAYS like more.

and this episode! oh, this episode.I was SO pleased to see a lady angel in the background, even though she got blasted away a moment later, but it was nice to see proof that not all angels take male vessels.  Castiel! Being Awesome! Sam! Being Just As Awesome! oh, SAMMY. this episode quite nicely finished my conversion to a Castiel-Sammy-Dean ordering, rather than a Castiel-Dean-Sam one. The blatantly-NOT-subtext was hilarious, and oh Castiel! so angry and pretty hopeless and fantastic and how does he just get even better looking and lol at him happening to Dean akshdglh. and SAM. you guys, I cannot express how much I love that Sam, the Designated Evil Brother, is the one who has turned into The Determinator. he's always been stubborn, but I love that he's re-channeled it and put it to better uses and oh SAAAAAAM. he's dragging his brother's dead weight into a battle already weighted tremendously against him, and his brother is being an ass to him, and Sam is trying SO HARD and being so amazing, and I am SO PLEASED that Dean finally woke up and smelled the roses, and there was Adam, which was fabulous, and there was FAMILY because even the angels know that the Winchesters are absolute suckers for family and there was Bobby being fantastic and omg there are only what four episodes left I cannot even WHAAAAT. WANT MORE.

if there is a Season 6, there had better be an attendant Castiel, doing his awesome knife-spinny thing and having a great time being a BAMF. (that scene was just so well directed and the angles with the forest and Castiel alone and then being awesome I LOOOOVE HIM AND SAM AND DEAN AND THE WHOLE SHOW OMG.



Also, who thinks Trickster/Gabriel should come back? As in now?

We saw a female angel in 4x21. I think it was 4x21. The one where Castiel's bait to get Anna captured, anyway. And also 4x20, Claire!Castiel. Which makes a grand total of four female angels, three if we discount Castiel for being male in all other scenes in which he appears, and one if we discount the capturing-Anna angel and the 5x18 angel for having no lines. *sulk*

I really wish we'd get more lady angels - clearly the angels aren't all that bothered by their host's gender, considering how willing Castiel was to switch, and yet we only have these few! It makes me very sad. :(

As for your prompt, I recommend... Parker, from Leverage, or perhaps Sarah Jane, of DW, or even a minor DW character like Adelaide Brooks (from Waters of Mars). It sounds like a really good writing prompt!

I would love to write Starbuck, because she is awesome, but I've never written her because I feel like I couldn't. she is just too awesome! I don't have a handle on her at all. ooooh, Amy! I was considering her at first. there have only been three episodes, BUT the deadline is not for a while and AMYYYYY.

To be honest, I wasn't thrilled by the return of baby!Winchester. But Castiel's arc this season really intrigues me, and they did a lot of stuff with that, so I was happy. Also, Bobby was involved! Which never fails to thrill me. Overall, B+.

yah, I am loving the Castiel being completely awesome stuff, and I am absolutely adoring Sammy's redemption. <333 Adam - I don't like the guy, but he's a believable character and I'm REALLY pleased they didn't just forget about him because, well, bloodlines! family! Angels know the Winchester's weak spots! that was nice.

That episode of SPN was absolutely awesome! My favourite by far this season! Castiel was a freakin BAMF and I LOVED THAT HE KICKED THE SHIT OUT OF DEAN FOR BEING STUPID! (I especially adored the "I REBELLED FOR THIS?" line.) And SAAAAM! I have always been a Sam girl, but I love that his awesomeness is finally shining true. And I'm with you on Dean ranking last right now. (Mine goes Sam, Castiel, Dean, though.)

Adam IS SUCH A WINCHESTER Y'ALL! I loved that.

I'm SO PLEASED with this episode! I'm not really a Samgirl or a Deangirl - I love them about equally - but Sammy's edged ahead these past few episodes, because he is just being SO AWESOME. <333
