... it feels kind of weird to be referring to Recon Marines as adorable, but !!! THEY ARE. (omg Ray pointing to Brad and Brad doing the clapping for the song completely deadpan without even looking at him. <333 they are hilarious!)

things that are fascinating: eumelia 's theory on the Church + The Weeping Angels in 5x04 of Doctor Who. I mean, horrifying, but fascinating. ALSO that crazy spoiler for 5x08! interestiiiing.

so today in Psychology, we did the assignment given to us last week, which was split up in groups and present a skit to the class representing a psychological disorder, which the class would then guess. I got to a group late. They had already decided what they were doing. It was Bipolar Disorder. so today, because I was the only one in the group even remotely okay with acting in front of people, I got applauded for my very accurate depiction of a manic depressive, completely with someone saying "that was so bipolar!" it was kind of hilarious.

EXACTLY. I'm on 4, and Brad just came up and said "I'm in awe," after Encino Man's (?) speech where "I'm reminding you who the enemy is: THE ENEMY." and Nate just walked away because he can't handle it.

and then earlier there was Brad in his grave, and pulling himself out, so tired, and then he opened his eyes and *flails hands* and Rudy sitting with him under the truck earlier! and Ray being absolutely ABSURD all the time. I don't even know why I love him but I DO.

Oh, I just rewatched that one yesterday! I know, Nate was so earnest and beamy in the first episode, and then it's like he realized how fucked up everything was and how little he could do to fix it (seriously, that speech was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard). D:

but Raaaaaay. i love him so much. i think it's because he runs his mouth off but you can tell how intelligent he is, and i think half the time he's spouting all his bullshit to cheer up everyone else around him. plus, i always have a special fondness for people with eloquence, and ray has definitely got that. :D

I really ought to watch Generation Kill sometime. I don't know Ray _that_ well irl but the few times I've been around him he's struck me as a real nice, funny guy.

it's an excellent series. I think knowing one of the guys IRL might make it a little weird to watch (well, I think it would for me at least) but it's well-done and it really makes you think.
