Sooo. I like Legend of the Seeker! Or at least, parts of it. I like Merlin and Supernatural better, I think, because they consistently turn out really good episodes, but about half of Legend of the Seeker's episodes are at least watchable, and there's several quite good ones. Also, Richard is very cute. *wisenod*

I need to wriiiite. But what?

If you give me prompts from shows/books I like, there's a possibility I'll write them. <333

<3333 Yaaaay I'm glad you like it!

ALSO, AHA. YES, Seeker is just 'YAAAY FANSERVICE!' and I'm sitting there all amused.

Also, I do not know if this is an addendum or something else entirely. *shrugs*

He doesn't even realize that he's been carrying the tension with him this whole voyage until they are in Aslan's country and she still isn't there and that's not right because there are circles, things are supposed to remain the way they were and always have been.

He fights down the panic and bottles it up, and he is more tense than he has been before because at least he knows Jadis and that he will defeat her, and that even if she returns she brings with her only the familiar.

The unknown enemy is the one that scares him, and so he welcomes the first snow back in England with all the intensity of the anger he once felt for her.

This is a circle, too, he thinks, and is content.

<3 That's lovely, and one of the bits of archetype that I think fits really prettily on Edmund/Jadis, or maybe Jadis/Narnia, how all the wars are essentially the same wars. Is the Green Kirtle Lady and the White Witch the same, or are they not, or are they even though they are not. Narnia is so steeped in metaphor and archetypes, and geez, the more I think about it, the more I ship Edmund/Jadis, Lucy/Aslan, and not even in terms of love or romance or crap like that, but in terms of how they are consumed. Y'know?

YES. THIS. Lucy is consumed by Aslan, and Edmund is consumed by the White Witch, and so Edmund will never fully be Aslan's because he's actually incapable of it, no matter how much he wants to believe that he is forgiven and redeemed because he is still hers and he will never, ever escape her and he knows this the way he knows that snow is cold and Lucy is fire. And the White Witch will never have any influence on Lucy because there is no room in Lucy for Jadis, only for Aslan.

Also do you have an ff.net account because someone on there named Lassiter posted the awesomest Edmund/Jadis fic. SO PRETTY.

... I need to stop rambling.

Yes that is me! Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I've had that account even longer than I've had an LJ, then I abandoned it for LJ altogether. But I've been pondering transferring my fics over to ffnet too now. The uploading interface is really annoying, so this will probably happen really slowly.

Regarding that fic:
1. If you're interested in the DVD commentary for it, it is here. My first and so far only commentary, that!
2. Soapboxing via cracked out outtake. Edmund as ruthless neoliberal.

OMG, YOU ARE SO AWESOME.

DVD commentary, WIN. Also, hehe, Edmund as ruthless neoliberal. *pats Edmund* He's so adorable sometimes, even when he's being scary.
