... well, that was unexpected.

Sam just cut himself with a chainsaw. It's not deep or really bad, but Mom's worrying that he needs a tetnus shot and is about to pass out because she feels so horrible about letting him use it at all, and especially because she'd gone to the other side of the yard to do something. And Sam's crying because he doesn't want Papa to know because he's sure Papa will make him feel like he's really really stupid (a rather justified fear).

It's really unexpected, because Sam's always been pretty careful with sharp things and he's done chain-saw work before with Matt and with my mom and he's always done very well, so... yeah.

I guess we're just lucky it's not deeper.

I think Kat and I might be the only sane people in the house right now. O.o

He's incredibly injury-prone, but he's a tough kid. He deals, makes us play games with him, and begs for his favorite foods. :P

I can't imagine being a girl without a sister. I could never do that to a daughter of mine. I'd just keep trying until I got another, or, failing that, adopt one. LOL.

I know! No one to talk to boys about, and sometimes you just cannot talk to you mother, way too embarassing, and then there's all the insanely awesome stuff sisters can do together. *sighs* I would adopt if I couldn't have another girl. Seriously.
