in things not related to my attempts to meta Renesmee Cullen into a likeable/believable character (and yes, this involves mostly completely ignoring the imprinting thing, whee, let Jacob find his consolation elsewhere!), OMG HP6 OMG

OMFG

eeee!

When Harry touches that ring and then does that really creepy neck twist thingie from HP5? SO GOOD.

DRACO IS FLYYYY. DRACO WILL TAKE YOUR FACE OFF, YO.

Two things I wish were more clear: where was the transition between just hanging out and then DEFYING DEATH IN THE CAVE (which, okay, was pretty much EPICLY AWESOME). also, was Ginny still dating Dean when she kissed Harry? 'cuz, uh. confusing.

THINGS I LOVED TO PIECES.

Um, yeah, pretty much the whole movie. manipulative Harry omg! REPEATING RIDDLE'S CONVERSATION.

Ron saying Hermione's name! Hermione holding his hand and telling Harry to shut up!
Hermione getting in subtle jabs at Harry liking Ginny like, the whole movie. "Although I think Harry enjoyed desert" HAHA.

I have got to find out a way to see this in the movie theater. GOT TO.

it was like 'LOOK, THEY ARE VERY SIMILAR' and 'should i spell it out for you?'

it was sneaky and mean! poor Slughorn. SECTUMSEMPRAAAA he didn't stay around to see if he was okay! DRACO HAD STOPPED MAKING NOISE. man, they are in over their head, all of them.

That was one of my two (well, three) biggest problems with like... the whole movie. (my problems with my movie, let me... um... yeah, there's not much to show.)

For some reason it didn't strike me as particularly hammerhanded in their comparison. maybe because they did it more strongly in another movie? oh yeah, OotP with his snake vision trick etc. But that was more like, Oh Harry you worry too much, you are not actually Voldemort. And this one was like, Dude, Harry... you're kind of like Voldemort and you don't seem to realize it!

I stopped being critical of HP when I made sure not to read the books right before seeing the movies. That ensured my enjoyment greatly because I wasn't preoccupied with the differences. so, hee, yes, not much problem here!

Not necessarily hammer-handed, but it ... felt really obvious to me (then again, I look for these sorts of things in movies all the time, so).

I pretty much treat the movies as supplemental to the books. If you want to know what's going on in all the subplots and stuff, you read the books, but the movies are pretty darn awesome too. (It's why I find it just so weird when people are all 'I HATED THE MOVIE, IT WAS HORRIBLE, THEY CHANGED THE PLOT' and I'm going 'wow, that was AWESOME. Sure, they changed the plot, and they could have fixed a few things, but awesome.' It BOGGLES MY BRAIN.)
