Whether I feel the urge to act older or younger depends on the day.

Today in choir we were rehearsing Pirates of Penzanze. Alas! Neither our Frederick or our Mabel showed up (the two romantic leads), so their understudies both took their parts for the rehearsal. The thing that makes this hilarious is that Frederick's understudy is Erin. E, and Mabel's understudy is her sister Taylor.

I mean, since we're practically an all-girl choir, we already had the lesbian text running rampant, but today it was incestuous lesbian text.

Other things I'm doing today: listening to Vienna Teng. A lot. Especially Whatever You Want, Antebellum, Gravity and Say Uncle.

... and there's some problem with that? If you used that as your advertising hook, not only would you be sold out for every single night, but 90% of the audience would be either teenaged boys or grey-haired old men.

not a problem, just really amusing, especially as the two people actually playing Fred and Mabel keep playing it up, both during rehearsal and out of it. lol! I'm pretty sure our conductor would NEVER use that as advertising.

Pirates of Penzanze! :D Apparently my school did it when my grade was in middle school. There is still discussion among the theatre kids about it's awesomeness.

Hahaha, at least you're not actually an all-girl choir? That's the choir I'm in, but we don't really put on productions as a choir, so I guess at least there's no lesbian subtext? *shrugs*
